How to help

The goals of the project are large and complex as a result of addressing global environmental damage in a fair and equal way. This means that it may be hard to judge how to support the project as a single person.

Below is a list of actions that an average person can do that requires no special knowledge, nor have any associated costs or barriers or entry. The options are listed in stages to prevent people from “biting off more than they can chew” too early.

Due to the sheer size of the Project it will be impossible to micromanage the entire community and direct them to take certain actions. People are encouraged to build communities across social media and elsewhere to accelerate the spread of awareness. If necessary make multiple alternate groups if you believe that the leadership of these groups are misinterpreting the goals of the project.

Please consider taking action using the guide below but don’t feel pressured to take this exact path. Just remember that awareness if the first step, then convincing them. Be the person who steps forward and takes action!

Stage 1: Spread the word

  • Use your social media, videos, vlogs and streams to bring attention to the Project.

  • Create a hashtag on your social media of your choice and participate frequently.

  • Gather and collaborate with others. Build a discord server, subreddit or message board.

  • Designate a date to bring awareness to the Project, post media during that day.

  • Manufacture a trend, be it an activity or dress code and upload it to your social media.

  • Interact with the Twitter (X) or Bluesky accounts of the Project.

Stage 2: Endure resistance and push upward

  • Your goal is a noble one but people always resist change, even friends and family.

  • Refute false claims made by hostile actors, leaving them alone strengthens ignorance.

  • Do not accept compromises! If the project’s goals are narrowed or its independence hindered it WILL fail to address the issues it sets out to solve.

  • Contact people of influence and help distribute the information to their audience.

  • Evolve the message, tailor it to satisfy hard-to-satisfy groups.

  • Create friendly competitions to draw in unrelated groups such as artists or influencers.

Stage 3: Connect with power structures

  • Message environmental groups or charity foundations about cooperating.

  • Tell your local council / government member of the project (and how supporting it will influence your vote).

  • Contact your country’s environmentalist political party and minor parties to inform them of the Project (and how it may secure your vote if they support it).

  • Message your Head of Government, their social media is public (No harassment please).

  • Send a message to the United Nations in the form of an enquiry to get their response.

Stage 4: Be counted

  • As a group, create a website to log pledges and promises of support for the project by members of government or powerful people. Record save the data.

  • Create an informal list of supporter on the website, ensure privacy is maintained.

  • Create physical locations / gathering points to bring awareness to people uninterested with the internet.

  • Have local businesses or public spaces display signage and information on the Project.

Stage 5: Final Action

  • As a group, designate a time and sign a petition for your country.

  • If you are a member of a EU, sign petitions directed at the EU council.

  • Contact all members of the largest two political parties and tell them their support of the project will influence your upcoming election vote (No harassment please).
